With that said, TSK Tesla Service is the absolute best service center I have ever been to in my 12 years of owning a Tesla.
Had a hit and run happen to me, and with the help of some law enforcement, was able to get info from the other side. I came here for a quote and Sam was very helpful in giving me an accurate estimate (it ended up being very close in the end) and also explaining to me the process of the insurance. Had I listened to the law enforcement, I would have been dealing with a much longer case, as Sam recommended I do not get my insurance involved at all and only file with the opposing side.
I dropped off my car in the first week of February and got my car back in the first week of March. Most of the delay had to do with insurance and supplements and adjuster approvals/rejections which opposing insurance kept trying to involve me but Sam was glad to take care of everything when I forwarded the communication to him. I was probably a pain in the butt calling them and asking for an update every week but Sam and Sergei were very awesome people to work with. They were able to provide me a rental for the duration of the repair and it was a equivalent/higher model than my car so that was nice.
On the final day upon pickup, the repair was done perfectly and they also ended up fixing a hinge issue with my trunk that they noticed while working on the car. This was a very pleasant surprise, because since I purchased my current car in 2023, Tesla's official service center has repeatedly told me that there is no hinge issue with my trunk despite me bringing to them multiple times for closure and striker issues. I said NOTHING to TSK about it and yet they noticed and fixed it. That's some stellar service right there, going above and beyond what the expectation was.
Picking up the car, the exterior and interior was all cleaned up very nicely and some light detailing was done. Got some cool merch too from TSK which is always a nice touch. Small things like that show that TSK really does care about their customers. Glad to also hear they are opening up another location in Santa Ana, so I could recommend it to my parents who live closer over there.
Thanks for everything, TSK!

Apparently, you're not supposed to use up to seven superchargers per day driving epic road trips (ZCT.Life) in harsh conditions. So my range had dropped by 85 miles, and I didn't have enough range to drive to the Yucatán without begging at Nissan dealers for j1772 in broken Español. I found TSK online, and they sold me a Y battery for a lower price than I expected. Turns out that since most people don't drive like me, there are lots of compatible batteries available. There's always a bright side. Thanks!

I had a new indicator like come on titled "air suspension unable to rise" with a saggy right wheel well. I got in contact with Alex to let him know I may need to bring it in. Since Serge advised against driving it via phone update, I opted to drop it off Friday and have them assess the issue the following Monday.
On Monday, I received texts and call updates about its status and how much the estimate would be. For some reason, I thought I heard 10k over the phone but I may have mistaken that for if the car had further issues beyond a simple fix. I asked for an email with deets to review.
After giving the green light to continue, they fixed the compressor issue. However, they then found an air Leak in the strut (front passenger) area. This also needed to be changed. I got another estimate with options for that. I gave another green light and they wrapped everything up by Thursday.
When I picked up my car, it was washed, vacuumed and scented by link air freshener. Such awesome service.
As much as I'd like to not come back for car repairs, I know there will be more visits in the future as my car ages (almost 10). The awesome part, I know whatever needs that may arise, the team at TSK will take care of it. Nothing beats peace of mind and knowing they are skilled in their craft.
Thank you, Alex, new Serge and the behind the scenes team! If you have a Tesla that needs a repair or any kind, don't hesitate to get an estimate here. They are awesome!
PS. I love the new wall mural and Tesla charger owner Bogdan put up. Cool vibes!

I have nothing but good praises for TSK, they were professional and actually went the extra mile to make my car whole again. They provided me with a loaner car while my care is getting fixed. I appreciate that.
TSK is two thumbs up in my book!
I'll recommend them to my friends and family.

Most Tesla owners worry too much about pointless maintenance. In this video, you’ll discover the real secrets to Tesla maintenance – what actually matters, what’s just expensive theater, and why your car demands almost nothing compared to gas vehicles. We debunk myths, expose bad advice, and show you exactly how to keep your Tesla in top shape without wasting money on unnecessary services.
Forget about oil changes, spark plugs, or transmission fluid – modern Teslas are designed for a “set it and forget it” lifestyle. The only real concern? Protect your battery by avoiding 100% charge in direct sunlight, and follow Tesla’s own recommendations if you have an LFP battery. Tesla’s software makes it nearly impossible to ruin your battery, and their paint is as durable as any modern car.
Ceramic coatings, PPF, and obsessive washing are rarely worth it unless you plan to drive the same car for generations. Tesla interiors are easy to clean, and you don’t need a screen protector unless you’re particularly rough with your fingers. With built-in UV protection and auto-cooling, Teslas are ready for any environment. When it comes to actual care, just watch your tires, change your cabin air filter when needed, and keep those cameras and sensors clean.
No need to follow outdated preventive maintenance schedules – they’re a myth from the dealership era. Tesla’s unique design philosophy means fewer things to worry about, less money spent, and more time enjoying your electric car. Whether you’re a new Tesla owner or a seasoned EV enthusiast, these tips will save you time, money, and worry. Don’t fall for fear-mongering or pay for unnecessary services.
Share this video with other Tesla drivers who need real advice, and tell us in the comments which maintenance myth we should bust next. If you love driving a powerful car, remember to use that power—but watch out for tickets! Subscribe to TSK Club for more honest, practical guides on electric car ownership.

From minus 4°F temperatures to hidden roadblocks and days of nonstop snow, we pushed Tesla beyond what most owners will ever experience. And surprisingly, the car revealed metrics and behaviors you rarely get to see in normal conditions.
💡 In this video:
— How a Tesla battery maintains 68-90°F in extreme sub-zero weather.
— Real-world efficiency: just 10% more consumption in slush compared to dry roads.
— Regenerative braking on ice and why it works better than traditional brakes.
— Autopilot in daily snow: when it helps and when it shuts down completely.
— The truth about supercharging in the north and why PlugShare became a lifesaver.
— The ferry charging disaster: unstable voltage, failed sessions, and only 22 miles left.
— Why even basic cruise control didn’t work when conditions got harsh.
— Hidden weak points: frozen frunk lock, frameless windows, and a cracked bumper.
— Driving behind snowplows in zero visibility and surviving Scandinavian road closures.
— Lessons learned for anyone planning a long EV trip in winter.
This was more than a road trip. It was an Arctic survival story on wheels. Our Tesla proved it could handle conditions that most skeptics claim EVs cannot survive - from icy mountain switchbacks to endless polar nights.
The myths that Teslas are only for California, that EVs don’t work in cold climates, and that electric cars aren’t for long trips - all challenged on this journey.

This video will only cover the latest changes made to the project. To watch the previous episodes click here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVtoZew3Zl0&list=PLXBpgwp6tNxgiVcKY9q_UiHt5kPb4b3fr&pp=iAQB
We used 99% of Tesla car technology. The best technology ever used by mankind to build a car. Tesla is no doubt the most efficient and optimized car in the world.
The most important part of the project took place - marrying the body and chassis together. The body laid smoothly along the wheel axles. But, as it always happens with unique projects, a big unexpected problem took place. And it took us almost 2 weeks to solve. The task was to transfer the charger unit. The charger unit is now placed behind the seatbacks. In fact, moving the charger unit to another part of the car body is the biggest technical change that we made to the model 3. And now the seats fit perfectly. Both of these seats are original tesla seats. They will move the same way as seats in any model 3. All the sensors are in the same place, and the car will definitely understand when you are in or out, and from this, it will be turned on or off without using any buttons.
The steering column and pedal assembly were moved too and moved significantly forward.
Naturally, we changed the location of the screen, so it is more convenient to use, given the lower fit. And now the screen layout is very similar to the layout in plaid, x and s models. We do not even plan to install mirrors. Although they might be installed for the sake of design in the future. But in fact, we don’t really need them, because we installed cameras. and now, when you change lane, you can clearly see the entire left or right side, you don’t have to look in the mirror. And even if you missed something, the car will warn you. And when we install the rest of the cameras, the car will already be able to drive independently both in city or on highway.
Moving on, since this is a tesla car and tesla is famous for having a lot of free space. Here we have the most spacious interior of all sports coupe that has ever been made. We are still thinking about how to adjust the passenger seat, so there is literally enough space to lie down.

From bushings and control arms to springs, shocks, and brakes, we break down how suspension really wears across different Tesla platforms. Whether you drive a Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X, or even Plaid, the signs of trouble are similar - but often invisible until damage is already done.
💡 In this video you’ll learn:
- Why Tesla suspension bushings wear silently and how to spot early signs.
- Real mileage numbers: when Model 3, Y, S, and X usually need service.
- How Model X Plaid destroyed 10 control arms by 17,000 miles.
- Why Model Y “horseshoes” and Plaid half shafts are weak points.
- The difference between stiff vs soft springs and what it means for your spine.
- Why regenerative braking saves pads but leaves calipers at risk.
- Brake service intervals for regular Teslas vs Plaid with carbon ceramics.
- Why inner tire edges disappear while the outer tread looks fine.
- Tips to extend life: alignment, inspections, and avoiding max air suspension height.
Suspension wear is inevitable - but sudden failure doesn’t have to be. Regular checks and simple preventive steps can save you thousands of dollars, protect your tires, and keep your Tesla safe on the road.
If you drive Plaid or Performance models, vibration during acceleration and drifting are your warning signs. For S and X with air suspension, avoid max height unless really needed. And for all models, check the inner edge of your rear tires once a month - it can reveal problems no warning system will.

When you sit inside, you immediately notice this is not a regular factory model at all. You sit directly over the rear axle with a massive, classic long hood stretching out in front of you, which completely changes the center of gravity and handling dynamics. The amazing part is that it still accelerates incredibly fast and grips the road perfectly, giving you that brutal electric torque paired with a true sports car driving position.

In this video, we dive deep into the rise of BYD—from a small battery factory in Shenzhen to a global automotive powerhouse. We explore why Elon Musk went from laughing at them in 2011 to buying their batteries today, and why the very strategy that made BYD successful is now its biggest liability.

Founded by Wang Chuanfu in 1995, BYD Auto bypassed expensive automated equipment by relying on manual labor to drastically cut production costs. They secured contracts as a lithium-ion battery supplier for tech giants like Motorola and Nokia, quickly establishing dominance in the industry. In 2003, Wang Chuanfu made a controversial move by acquiring Chinchuan Automobile for 75 million dollars, a decision that caused their stocks to drop sharply. Despite skepticism, their affordable formula worked, and the iconic F3 model, heavily inspired by the Toyota Corolla, became the best-selling car in China by 2007.
A major turning point arrived in 2008 when Warren Buffett invested 232 million dollars through Berkshire Hathaway, signaling major global approval. While Silicon Valley and Tesla treated pure electric vehicles as a modern religion, BYD Auto prioritized vertical integration. They chose to manufacture almost everything in-house, from semiconductors and interior parts to power electronics. When the semiconductor shortage hit the global automotive industry in 2021, their tight supply chain allowed them to increase production while legacy competitors struggled.
Furthermore, their focus on dual-mode plug-in hybrid technology provided practical solutions for millions living outside developed charging networks. The introduction of the revolutionary blade battery based on lithium iron phosphate chemistry offered a safer, cheaper, and longer-lasting option for the mass-market car. By 2024, their annual sales skyrocketed to 4.25 million cars, aggressively capturing markets in Thailand, Brazil, Australia, and Norway.
However, rapid growth has exposed massive vulnerabilities, including 4.3 billion dollars received in direct government subsidies that often exceeded net profit. Research firms have raised uncomfortable questions about hidden debt linked to supply chain financing and a very long vendor payment delay of 275 days. Reports of zero mileage cars inflating official statistics, shrinking profit margins down to 4.1 percent, and a recent 19 percent drop in net profit highlight intense price wars. Coupled with vehicle recalls, labor scandals in Brazil, and massive European and American tariffs, the era of free global expansion is rapidly closing for BYD Auto.

There is an ironclad rule for taking your EV swimming: you absolutely have to go slow. If you decide to speed through the water, the sheer force will easily rip your entire front bumper right off the car. In fact, the only vehicle from Elon Musk specifically designed to plow straight into water at high speeds is the massive Cybertruck. It features an exclusive Wade mode that completely seals the battery for these exact extreme stunts[cite: 39]. So, if you are daily driving a standard Model 3 or Model Y, always remember to take it easy through those giant puddles.
Have you ever had to drive your electric vehicle through a flooded road, and did it survive the trip? Let us know your craziest driving stories in the comments below. This clip is just a quick highlight, so make sure to check out our full extreme testing video on the channel to see the Cybertruck tackle deep water in real life.

The original story claimed there was nowhere to mount them, so high-tech lasers were supposed to magically clear raindrops off the massive windshield. Instead of an elegant futuristic solution, we got a giant boom barrier that is practically as tall as a person. It is incredibly clunky, blocks visibility, and stands as a constant reminder of engineering promises that simply did not come true for buyers.
Are you disappointed by the lack of laser technology, or do you think the giant wiper actually fits the brutalist aesthetic of the vehicle? Drop a comment and tell us what you really think about this wild design choice. Be sure to catch our full Cybertruck review video to see what other crazy features Tesla actually delivered.

Usually, modern vehicles rely on frame rail extensions to do a great job absorbing an impact, but this single piece cast front end completely lacks them. Just like the controversial rear end casting of the Model Y, it only uses a basic adapter plate, causing the frame to crumble during accidents that older custom cars would easily survive. It almost looks like the entire front structure was put together half-assed just to meet production deadlines.
Do you think Tesla made a huge mistake by removing traditional crash structures, or is this the inevitable future of electric vehicle manufacturing? Let us know your opinions in the comments section. Watch the full crash analysis episode on our channel to see how we compare this exact design to other heavy-duty trucks.

We dive deep into the minor inconveniences like unexpected water leaks after a simple wash before moving up to the legendary failures of the 12 volt battery, which can completely lock you out of your vehicle. It is not just about power, though. You will also learn why aging parking sensors and the infamous eMMC flash memory wearing out on older screens can cost you a fortune to repair.
Because these vehicles are incredibly heavy, the Tesla suspension takes a massive beating daily. If you ignore regular alignment checks, your Tesla tires will wear out much faster than you ever expected. We also cover the annoying driveshaft shudder that plagued early models, the surprisingly high failure rate of the AC compressor, and the overly sensitive air suspension systems. Finally, we reveal the ultimate disasters: replacing the high voltage battery and the catastrophic repair costs associated with undercarriage battery damage.
