We were honored to be on the cover of the DRIVE magazine! The editor-in-chief Chris Hamilton noted that this project wasn’t “just about aesthetics – it was about performance too”.
High performance and functionality to be more precise. In short, to create this Tesla powered 300 Mercedes we had to cut the Tesla chassis short to match it with Mercedes 300 SL carbon fiber body, spent several months transferring all the wiring and cables, relocating and calibrating all the cameras and sensors, and most importantly, preserving the autopilot. This work took much longer than we expected which left very little time for John S and his team from S-Klub to turn this project into a showstopper that you might have observed at SEMA 2023 in Las Vegas.
