What Hyundai Certification Means for Your Repair
Certified centers are inspected and certified every year by the OEC Collision Performance Network. For you, that means the shop has to keep meeting Hyundai’s requirements, not just pass once.
Hyundai publishes clear rules for collision repairs. These three shape every EV job we take:
- A scan before and afterHyundai requires a pre-repair and a post-repair scan, even when no warning light is on. The job is done when systems are calibrated and no trouble codes remain.
- A battery check that comes firstIf the car took a structural hit, Hyundai recommends inspecting the high-voltage battery before or during the estimate, because battery damage can change the cost of the repair.
- Original partsHyundai does not recommend aftermarket or recycled collision parts, because they may affect how the car protects its occupants in a crash.
