Tesla Minor Collision Repair FAQ
A small impact can damage mounts or adjacent parts even when the paint damage looks minor. Describe the impact and any changes in steering, panel fit or dashboard messages.
Creased metal, a damaged headlamp mount, wheel contact or damage behind the panel can expand the scope. The estimate needs to distinguish cosmetic damage from those additional findings.
Photograph the impact area and the whole affected corner, including the wheel and nearby gaps. Bring any prior estimate and explain whether the vehicle's behavior changed after the incident.
Tesla vehicles do not all use the same components or procedures. Send the model, VIN and relevant repair history so minor collision repair can be assessed for the vehicle you own.
