Tesla Charging Diagnostics FAQ
The charging station, supply, connector and vehicle each form part of the charging path. Knowing where charging works helps narrow the inspection without assuming that the vehicle needs a new part.
Record the exact alert, charger type, starting battery level and whether charging fails immediately or stops later. A screenshot is more useful than a description such as 'it will not charge.'
The purpose is to isolate the fault and define the next step. Some intermittent problems on a Tesla may require additional observation or a controlled charging test before the scope is clear.
Tesla vehicles do not all use the same components or procedures. Send the model, VIN and relevant repair history so charging diagnostics can be assessed for the vehicle you own.
