Tesla Exterior Lighting Repair FAQ
The lamp, wiring, connector and mounting damage should be assessed before replacement. The symptom alone does not show whether the assembly is the failed part.
Lamp design and part compatibility can vary with the vehicle's production version. Photos and the VIN help identify the correct side and assembly for your Tesla.
The repaired light's functions and mounting need checking, with aiming or configuration where required. Report any remaining lighting alerts or uneven beam pattern.
Tesla vehicles do not all use the same components or procedures. Send the model, VIN and relevant repair history so exterior lighting repair can be assessed for the vehicle you own.
