Tesla Window Regulator Repair FAQ
The mechanism, motor, glass alignment or electrical controls may be involved. The movement and sound help guide diagnosis, but the failed part needs to be identified before ordering a regulator.
Not if the mechanism is damaged or binding. Inspection should distinguish a position-setting issue from a mechanical fault that needs repair.
Avoid forcing the glass and protect the interior from weather. Tell us which window is affected, whether it is open or closed, and whether the fault began after other work.
