Battery diagnostics
HV batteries in Tesla vehicles are designed to be safe and durable, but like any mechanical or electronic component, some conditions can lead to issues with their performance. Our skilled technicians use advanced diagnostic tools and have the knowledge to provide accurate battery diagnostics. If we identify problems or anomalies, depending on their nature, we suggest if the battery can be repaired or has to be replaced

Tesla High-Voltage Battery Diagnostics FAQ
Range changes alone do not establish a battery failure. Driving conditions, energy use, charging behavior and diagnostic findings need to be considered before recommending battery work.
Send the exact alert and describe charging limits, recent changes and any impact or water exposure. Include the VIN and repair history for your Tesla; do not open the battery or high-voltage connections.
The findings establish the next step, which may be further inspection, repair assessment or replacement planning. No repair option can be guaranteed from an alert or range estimate alone.
Tesla vehicles do not all use the same components or procedures. Send the model, VIN and relevant repair history so high-voltage battery diagnostics can be assessed for the vehicle you own.
