A pressure warning and a monitoring-system fault require different checks. Confirm actual tire condition and pressure safely, then provide the exact message so the sensor system can be assessed.
Sensor compatibility, damage or required setup may need checking. Tell us which wheels or sensors changed and when the warning first appeared.
Not automatically. Diagnosis should identify the affected sensor or system issue before parts are proposed; the correct sensor version also needs confirmation.
Tell the team about previous work on the affected system, especially replaced assemblies or modifications. For Model S tpms diagnostics, the installed hardware needs to be checked along with the VIN; it may differ from an assumption based only on age.
