The scope can be a panel or a larger area, depending on the damage and desired result. The condition of adjacent surfaces and the color match determine whether blending should be included.
It should identify the panels, any dent or scratch preparation, trim removal, the intended finish and any blending. A full color change needs a different scope from restoring an existing painted panel.
Yes. Existing film, coatings and earlier repairs affect access and preparation. Share that history and photographs so the estimate reflects the surface that is actually on the vehicle.
